Furness Dance Leaders //

FDL are a group of dance workers and teachers from in and around the Furness and South Lakes area. They were all members of the world renowned dance group DANCE FOR JOY which was based here in Ulverston founded by the charismatic Enid Hobba. Furness Dance Leaders are commited to developing and diversifying new and innovative styles of contempory and modern dance! The group perform in theatres and dance festivals locally and have worked recently on a "New" dance piece choreographed by the talented contemporary choreographer Lucy Nicholson. The piece was performed at The South Lakes Community Dance Festival 2008 - AN EXPLORATION OF DANCE on Saturday 6th December.
